"Cute, quiet and well maintained hostel near the town center. Lake Tekapo isn't too busy, so free and available parking spots on the side of the road. The kitchen was always kept very clean as well as the toilets and showers. The common area is cozy with a little oven. There are rabbits and guinea pigs outside, so lovely. The room was big enough and the pricing is fair."

"The cutest backpackers! Feels more like a cosy home than a hostel. This is such a cute place to stay in Tekapo. It feels more like a little farm or campground than a backpackers, with the adorable animals (including bunnies you can pat), quiet location and view of the mountains. We stayed in a private room with our own bathroom, and we enjoyed the facilities in the shared kitchen and the cosy lounge, complete with a fireplace and board games. It was quiet and laid-back. 
You can walk to town, and it’s also a short walk to the golf course which is a great spot for star-gazing!"

"The rooms and bathrooms were all very clean and spacious and great for the 1 night we stayed here. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook a good meal and was very large. The location is just outside of town, but an easy and pretty 5 minute walk. The lake views are unbelievable and Tekapo is a must see! Most places seemed to shut down early, so we are glad we brought food to make in the hostel."

"We loved staying in this hostel! We had a private room with ensuite and it was so comfortable and decorated very tastefully and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was a highlight for me, so clean and well equipped with decent equipment like great knives and pans. Although the key collection is by envelope I still felt like I had plenty of information from their email and didn't have any questions. Having the tennis and basketball courts use was also a bonus. The location is good but not right in the centre so still quiet. Wish we'd stayed longer!"
