Arriving by Car (Self-Driving via State Highway 8)

• From Christchurch: Lake Tekapo is an incredibly scenic 3-hour drive (approx. 225 km) southwest of Christchurch via State Highway 1 and State Highway 8 through the Canterbury Plains and Fairlie.
   

• From Queenstown: We are a 3-hour drive (approx. 255 km) northeast of Queenstown, heading over the beautiful Lindis Pass through Omarama and Twizel on State Highway 8.

Coming by bus?
The main InterCity bus stop is located in the Lake Tekapo village center. From the bus drop-off point, it is a flat, easy 5-minute walk (approx. 450 meters) to our front door at 11 Aorangi Crescent. Simply walk past the Four Square supermarket, head slightly inland up Aorangi Crescent, and you will find us on the left

• Once you arrive, we offer 8 dedicated off-street parking spaces directly on the property, alongside unlimited, safe and free on-street parking right outside the guesthouse. All onsite parking spaces are on a first come - first served basis.
